On the occasion of the mutual donation of books, the representatives from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the East Asia Resource Library at the University of Ljubljana held a virtual meeting on December 20.

On Wednesday, 22 November 2022, the Faculty of Social Sciences organized an event titled "Trust in the Future: Slovenia in the UN Security Council." The guest speaker was the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Tanja Fajon.

On Thursday, 20 November 2022, the Department of International Relations and the East Asia Resource Library (EARL) co-hosted a guest lecture by Dr. Igor Rogelja, a Lecturer in Global Politics at University College London.

On November 1-2, 2022, the NCL will hold an international conference commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS). This conference will be held both on site at the NCL and on line through Webex and FB live streaming.

On 21 September 2022, the Head of EARL, Professor Zlatko Šabič, participated in the conference of think tanks of Central and Eastern Europe with his own expose.

Basilica Online is an online edition of the 17 volumes of the Basilica text and its scholia, as edited between 1945 and 1988 by H.J. Scheltema, D. Holwerda, and N. van der Wal. The Basilica is the single-most important source for Byzantine law throughout the period of the Byzantine empire, and is a major source for Byzantine studies more broadly. Trial access is available till 30th September 2022.

On 20 July, 2022, a special donation ceremony of a large number of books for the needs of the University of Ljubljana was organized via an online link. The event marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the People's Republic of China.
