The textbook “Taiwan: A Pearl in a Relentless Geopolitical Reality,” by dr. Saša Istenič Kotar was published by the Ljubljana University Press at the Faculty of Arts. The textbook provides a comprehensive and professional insight into the past and present of Taiwan and contains a more detailed analysis of its relations with China, Japan, the USA, the EU and Slovenia.

Taiwan’s Lost Commercial Films Restored

You are cordially invited to a virtual tour of two Taiwanese film classics and a relaxed conversation with film experts on 22 April 2021 at 4.30 pm. Two films in different genres, spy drama and comedy, will be presented to the Slovenian audience in April as part of the Taiwan Lost Commercial Films European tour, and will offer us valuable glimpses from Taiwan's past.
