Researcher Nina Pejič is a speaker at the Forum on the Belt and Road in Hangzhou, People's Republic of China

Ms Nina Pejič, a Junior Researcher at the Centre of International Relations and EARL Researcher held a brief lecture titled »Boosting the cooperation in 16+1« in which she presented 7 main challenges to the existing cooperation - and their possible solutions - in the framework of the 16+1 Platform, which gathers China and 16 countries from Central and Eastern Europe (among those also Slovenia).

How to learn about the Korean history from your own home?

On Wednesday, November 21st, Dr. Young-du Kim and Dr. Il-woong Moon from the National Institute of Korean History, which is based in Gwacheon, Korea (http://www.history.go.kr/en/main/main.do), gave a talk at the EARL on Korean-history web archiving service. The well-attended lecture was held in the Korean language, and was simultaneously translated into English by Minyoung Chang, a lecturer of the Korean language.

Professor Dr Jana S Rošker delivered a guest lecture on the topic “From Marx to Mao – The Sinization of Marxism” at Trier University

On November 13th 2019, Professor Dr Jana S. Rošker has delivered an invited guest lecture at Trier. The lecture under the title “From Marx to Mao – The Sinization of Marxism” was jointly organized by the Department of Sinology of the Trier University, by the Confucius Institute Trier, and by the German-Chinese Society. The lecture was organized as a part of the celebration of the bicentenary of Karl Marx, who was born in Trier.
