From the 27th to the 29th of March 2019, a public lecture series on economic activity and business environment in Japan were held for the second year in a row under the auspices of the Department for Asian studies – Japanese studies and EARL.

Chikako Shigemori Bučar, PhD, attended the “Network Meeting for Japanese Studies in Central-Eastern Europe” which was held by the Japan Foundation Budapest on Febraury 2nd and 3rd, 2019.

DLD Munich has been named “one of the two most important innovation conferences in Europe” by The Economist. Happening shortly before the World Economic in Davos, the conference attracted more than 150 speakers and 800 attendees.

Welcome to the Days of Korean Studies 2019, 28.02.2019 and 14.03.2019 at EARL's premises.

In this period, they have been working on the Chiang Ch’ing-Kuo research project Modern and Contemporary Taiwanese Philosophy. The main goal of the project is to systematically introduce the work of Taiwanese philosophers to the European (especially Central European) academic public and spread their most important achievements, along with their contributions in the field of contemporary philosophical theory.
