EARL is co-hosting the International Conference on "Taiwanese Philosophy and the Preservation of Confucian Tradition" that will take place between 16 and 17 October 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

You are invited to the series of public lectures by Dr. Ildigo Maria Farkas. Lectures will be held at the Department of Asian Studies at the Faculty of Arts beetween October 8 and October 10.

Profesor Jana Rošker, one of the founders of the EARL, received a special recognition of its academic work at this year’s conference of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy.

You are kindly invited to purchase the books of the FDV Publishing House, henceforth at the Central Social Science Library of Jože Goričar at the opening time of the library.

Dr. Zlatko Šabič and Mirjam Kotar, Msc have published an article in EAAA Bulletin No. 3 entitled "The EARL: East Aisa Resource library".

The results of the analysis will be presented in a book format and published in English and Chinese language in autumn 2019.

The lecture held by Dr. Saša Istenič Kotar on 22 May 2019 addressed the international position of Taiwan.

On 22 May at 16:00 (Lecture room 08, EARL, Faculty of Social Sciences) you are cordially invited to the lecture titled "Taiwan: prospects and uncertainty" by Dr Saša Istenič Kotar.

On Wednesday, May 8th at 5 p.m., Prof Dr Andrej Bekeš gave a talk on Writing in the East and West from the linguistic perspective. The lecture was part of EARL's (East Asia Resource Library) program of public lectures for the centenary of the University of Ljubljana.

The Library will be closed on Saturday, April 27th, and from May 1st to May 5th.
