On 6 November 2019 at 17:00 (Lecture room 08, EARL, Faculty of Social Sciences) you are corially invited to the lecture titled "Immigration in Japan: labour shortages and social change" by Dr Nataša Visočnik.

International Conference on "Taiwanese Philosophy and the Preservation of Confucian Tradition" took place between 16 and 17 October 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

On Monday, 21 October 2019, EARL hosted Ms Sanae Tada, Director of the Japan Foundation's Budapest division, who presented Japan Foundation's activities and opportunities that it offers to students, lecturers, researchers and artists.

On 30 October 2019 at 17:00 (Lecture room 08, EARL, Faculty of Social Sciences) you are corially invited to the lecture titled "The art movements that shaped Japanese post-war art" by Dr Klara Hrvatin.

On Monday, 21st October 2019 an opening of a book exhibition took place at EARL. Presented at the opening by Professors Jana Rošker and Zlatko Šabič, the exhibited books were donated by the National Central Library from Taiwan.

The exhibition is open to the public until 26th October.

Ms Sanae TADA had a presentation about the Japan Foundation and its Budapest office activities in the East Asia Resource Library (EARL) reading room on Monday, 21st of October 2019 at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana.

We kindly invite you to the guest lecture by dr Yuka Kadoi on the topic of "Persia and China on the Blue and White Road", which will take place on Wednesday 23 October at 16:30 in the Blue room of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.

The Jože Goričar Central Social Sciences Library will be closed during the holidays from 31st October to 3th November 2019.

On October 12th, the Secretary-General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Mr Yoo In-tae visited the East Asia Resource Library.
