We are happy to offer trial access to Moazine, valid until 31 August 2020.

Kinokuniya is delighted to announce that their partner publishers are offering free access to their databases from 3/25/2020 to 4/30/2020.

Some publishers and providers of electronic resources have provided free access to some of their otherwise paid content and tools because of COVID-19 Pandemic.

During this time COSEC, CTL and UL libraries are organizing trial accesses to databases, e-books and e-journals. Trial accesses are generally till the end of June or in some cases till the end of July.

We got access to over 240 journals of the publisher De Gruyter. Access to the De Gruyter Online is available to students, employees and other users on the basis of IP authentication from the locations of the faculties of UL, CTL and NUL and also through remote access for students and employees of UL and CTL and for all members of NUL.

On 3 March 2020, East Asia Resource Library (EARL) hosted an advisory session of experts on the implementation and development of Society 5.0 in the Western Balkans.

On 28 February 2020, East Asia Resource Library (EARL) held the second in its series of public discussions on the role of artificial intelligence in today's society. The talk, titled “Artificial intelligence and Surveillance” focused on essential questions surrounding the development of AI technologies in connection to control, security, surveillance and privacy. The guest of our discussion was dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, in conversation with Tilen Gorenšek, a PhD student of Organizational and Human Resource Management and Development at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
