Jana S. Rošker and Téa Sernelj are visiting researchers at the Taipei National Central Library
In this period, they have been working on the Chiang Ch’ing-Kuo research project Modern and Contemporary Taiwanese Philosophy. The main goal of the project is to systematically introduce the work of Taiwanese philosophers to the European (especially Central European) academic public and spread their most important achievements, along with their contributions in the field of contemporary philosophical theory.

Researcher Nina Pejič is a speaker at the Forum on the Belt and Road in Hangzhou, People's Republic of China
Ms Nina Pejič, a Junior Researcher at the Centre of International Relations and EARL Researcher held a brief lecture titled »Boosting the cooperation in 16+1« in which she presented 7 main challenges to the existing cooperation - and their possible solutions - in the framework of the 16+1 Platform, which gathers China and 16 countries from Central and Eastern Europe (among those also Slovenia).

How to learn about the Korean history from your own home?
On Wednesday, November 21st, Dr. Young-du Kim and Dr. Il-woong Moon from the National Institute of Korean History, which is based in Gwacheon, Korea (http://www.history.go.kr/en/main/main.do), gave a talk at the EARL on Korean-history web archiving service. The well-attended lecture was held in the Korean language, and was simultaneously translated into English by Minyoung Chang, a lecturer of the Korean language.
