BledCom 2018 - A World in Crisis: The Role of Public Relations

Bledcom002The 25th silver anniversary edition of International Public Relations Research Symposium (BledCom) will be held on July 5, 6 & 7, 2018 in Hotel Golf Bled, Slovenia.
This year’s theme is “A World in Crisis: The Role of Public Relations”, although other topics relevant to public relations and communication management topics will also be highlighted. There will be 14 parallel paper sessions, one poster session, five panel discussions and the keynote speech, with participants representing more than 35 countries and six continents.

Three Savoury Dinners 
Dinner on Thursday, July 5, 2018, will take place in Skipass Restaurant, Kranjska Gora. Due to its unique location near the Italian and Austrian borders, the restaurant offers a delicious mixture of Slovenian, Austrian, and Italian fine cuisine.
Dinner on Friday, July 6, 2018 will take place in Vila Podvin, Radovljica, which keeps in touch with tradition by using local ingredients when preparing traditional dishes that have nearly slipped into oblivion.
Dinner on Saturday, July 7, 2018, will take place in Gostilna Krištof, the family restaurant in Predoselje oriented mainly in the modern culinary ideas that are based on the intertwining of Slovenian tradition and world gourmet novelties.
The price of a 3-course conference dinner with a complimentary glass of wine is 45 EUR (22% VAT included).

Visa Requirements
It is advisable for the BledCom participants that are citizens of countries with mandatory visa requirements from the Schengen Zone to start their visa application process at the respective visa application centres at least a month before their visit to Slovenia. It is the sole responsibility of the BledCom attendee to take care of his/her visa requirements.
